Still think Cats killing bats is pretty hardcore. Cap doffed, unless the sneaky fucks get them during the day asleep

Great opening post Amps. Nothing could be more interesting than the argument you’ve stoked up here. Cats vs Dogs - which are better? By weirdos who actually care about this.

bosstrabs Just following your instructive pattern of depressed suspension produce posts, but backed it up with a little popular science. Thanks for noticing though.

-si- New Ledge Bants gets it right here.

Cats are slightly less shit than dogs. Because, literally, you don’t have to clean up shit after them.

    2 years later

Our elder cat had been poorly for awhile, all due to old age (she was 14). On Monday we made the decision and booked the time at the vet for Thursday. Yesterday we took a trip with her, and came back with an empty cat carrier.

I’ve had more fun days in my life.

      Sorry to hear that H.

Take it you’re not feline too good?

      OLB - Never stops.

Smallman1 upvoted, but fuck you Ed. I’ve lost pets before, but if they were a cat or a dog (my ex had a hamster, and my wife used to have pet rats, but grew tired of their life span on about 2 years) the last time was in my childhood home. I’d lived in the same apartment/ house with this cat for 8 years (missus got her in 2008).

We just got a new kitten. He’s absolutely fucking mental.

it’s like having Dave Benson Phillips running around your house. Our older cat Bozwick is now sulking.

And sorry to hear H. Properly shit losing a pet…

vinnyt77 that’s a thing to consider. Our younger cat is now so confused, she keeps trying to find her buddy. It’s quite heart breaking. I figure she’ll get it in a few days, it’s only been one night.

mono-stereo it takes awhile. When we got our younger cat, the now passed older one was very much an older child. They never got cuddly, but she even groomed her every few months after about 6 weeks or so.

Sorry to hear that Hannu. 14 is a good age though and I’m sure she had a great life and knew she was one of the lucky ones.

My father-in-law was a consultant ENT surgeon for the NHS. Spent his days cutting cancer out of folks. Absolute hard cunt in terms of feels when you’re in that game, as you can imagine.

Cried his eyes out when the family cat was put to sleep.

          The feels are real.
