Tomorrow a movie after work in the home theatre (haven’t picked one yet).

Saturday assemble new garden chairs and table from Ikea and probably hurt myself as I will be having beers while I do it. Later friend will come by and I will go all @NasserAlazzawi trying to see why he can’t get his Pioneer Audio Interface 2 working like it should. Then probably home DJ with him to my wife’s amusement, which will soon turn to irritation.

Missus is out overnight from now, so Giro d’Italia this afternoon then film, wine and takeaway tonight.

Played golf yesterday after a restart - best round I’ve ever played (from a low base) and got 25 Stableford points - was smacking my 5I about 190 all day, so will head to the range on Saturday. Mate’s 50th in Wimbledon.

Sunday is a four hour training ride followed by a boozy lunch, a row with the missus and a kip. Bliss.

Dan was playing in the indoor courts at Virgin Brentwood but now the sun’s out, I have been playing on the resurfaced courts at Lionmede Park (Chelmsford).

Dan ….Where in Springfield? I was Sherbourne Rd . 1 row in front of that parade of shops that may not be there anymore. Used to have a video shop on the corner / Fourboys news agent where you could get 7inch records for about 10p back in the day.
