Thatâs standard. You criticize the incompetent refs you get fined as a blanket policy. This is not some outlier proving your point that Joel somehow didnât flop like a fish out of water. That they were both willing, like countless others this year, to lose money to get their opinion heard speaks for itself.
Flopping, like this is the Premier League, should not be rewarded. They managed to fix the rip through move Durant and Bryant used to do all the time by simply not calling it. They can also fix egregious foul hunting like flopping (case in point) and jumping into defenders like Trae and Luka both do. Bite your whistle, refs. I donât want to watch refs doing replay reviews and free throws all game.
