Rings of Power, already sounds like it’s own porn parody…

…all very nice, but mad expensive for what is basically melodrama with pointy ears. No complaints but everyone doing an Alan Rickman and over pronunciating through their teeth gets a bit much after a while.

Amps I didn’t like the films or the books anyway, but still, isn’t this show incredibly fucking boring? I literally find the plot of Coronation Street more engaging.

Jodie Foster on the lead, a horror director (Issita Lopez) show running, writing and directing instead of Pizzolotto, and set in Alaska during the winter. Sounds great!

mono-stereo Defo don’t watch Andor then, even less happens, and although the dialogue is mostly spoken as a normal human being would, none of it is anything you ever want to hear.

Starting next month. So glad they turned it into a series and not a film as the book is to epic.

As I recall it was only a small section of the book. But you think being a series of they’d keep it in. Will be interesting how they filmed the scenes in Leopold’s cafe in Mumbai as the last time I was there it still loads of bullet holes in the walls from the Mumbai terrorist attack.

Latest House of the Dragon episode is stellar, up there with some of the better GOT episodes. Great character development, which I wasn’t expecting with a 10 year jump.

Dubman From what I remember, the book is split into three parts, his entry into bombay, the afghanistan section and then his return to bombay. Afghanistan was a significant chunk, and probably the best writing in it.

Just goes to show how my memory has gone. Mind you I did read it probably 15 years ago whilst traveling in India. I did try the follow up book The mountain shadow. But gave it away as the print was to small to read.
