    hugopal yeah - I think it was AA Gill (RIP) who suggested on the first series that the 2 were miscast and Paul Giamatti should have been Axelrod and vice versa - an interesting thought. The most unrealistic element is the Wendy and Chuck being a couple in my opinion!

          hugopal i work in the industry and have worked at a couple of hedge funds… it isn’t all glamour - lot of hedge fund managers are moody and burnt out!

                  Pickles I think Giamatti is miscast as anyone particularly high achieving.

                    Jules72 no surprise that burn out is an occupational hazard. It seems many have been finding it increasingly difficult to justify their high fees in recent years as well.
