Phil-McRackin I used to watch The Other Side of Midnight when I was a teenager. Generally some quite pretentious stuff (to a teenage me) with the odd nugget of musical brilliance. This seems like a better episode 😏

Phil-McRackin he was, I still liked him though and actually was genuinely sad the day he died. Him and Factory were a big part of my teenage years. Those Comme des Garçons suits that he was such a fan of were bonkers too!

TitianWarrior yeah was huge for me too. Going from a sleepy village in Cheshire into Manchester on Saturday was a big deal. Was going to mention those suits, he loved them.

Though imagine one of these where the lead law enforcement person is not burdened with heavy personal tragedy? Mare’s kid killed himself, here it seems Ruffalo’s character’s son killed someone else, maybe his mother?

Quite late in the game but wife and I finally finished the first season of The Agency, and loved it, despite watching it a couple of episodes every two months. They’re filming season two now. Glad it got renewed, must be a pretty expensive show to make.

We need Zackers back to comment on the Philly-accents on Task. I have no idea how accurate it was but that female state cops Delco after the shots and beers sounded amazingly thick. 😂

Homegrove I haven’t seen it yet but a couple of the actors spoke about the struggle of getting to grips with the Delco (Delaware County, PA) accent. The Irish actor Sam Keeley said it’s very specific. And he’s from Offaly ffs!

LT42 I liked it until the end (the last episode came out yesterday, and it ended with a cliffhanger so we should be also getting more), but I can see how it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Folks on some forums have HATED it, yet the LV426 subreddit has been mostly positive if not even enthustiastic about it, and those guys fucking love Alien.
