Leave The World Behind: This is worthy of sitting in this thread, felt like a proper movie and not a ‘netflix’ movie. As a horror/thriller/drama plot, it’s actually very good - subtle, and while it’s brooding and ominous through out, it’s not exactly in-your-face because there’s a decent balance of family drama and humour. I enjoyed the cinematography, some big shots, and maybe intentionally confusing because sometimes the lighting is similar to what you see in comedies. The acting is spot on, solid cast of legends. Script is dense with dialogue, almost like a movie that is too aware it’s an adaptation of a novel. Well worth a watch imo, no brainer if you’re a Mr. Robot fan.
