Along_the_Wire 12 Angry Men. Read some news article that name-dropped this film and was curious - a really good film for its time - 1957 - couple of hammy actors, but by and large some strong work. Would make a brilliant play - 7/10
gcw Double Jeopardy (1999) Despite some very glaring plot holes/jumps I really enjoyed this. Tommy Lee Jones excellent again as the law enforcement type character, and Ashley Judd with her kit off. What’s not to like? 8/10
Wasily Beekeeper 8/10 Statham/Smallman goes after the Millennials, YouTubers, South-Africans, ‘the disabled’ and Jeremy Irons. Revenge/Avenge plot set within 3 mins and then rampage. If you’ve pined for 80’s action this is a panacea, sort of.
Homegrove Missus fell asleep an hour into Killers of the Flower Moon. I paused, and will report back when we finish it.
Along_the_Wire All of Us Strangers. Slow, sad and poignant - a really good film, but definitely tough going. Great soundtrack, first time I’ve ever heard Build by The Housemartins in a film. Solid 8/10.
