C_J my wife is going skiing with her father for a week, so might watch that again too now that I have plenty of time. I didn’t hate it on first watch, but I think it’s the kind of movie that works better on a second watch.

Homegrove on second watch everything feels very obvious, and you wonder why you didn’t catch it all. First watch you’re questioning everything and there is an air mystery running through it. Wasn’t really worth it doing it twice imo.

Dune part 2 was excellent. As good as Villeneuve’s Bladerunner imo. Goes without saying it needs to be seen on the big screen but I was seriously impressed.

rhouses I was thinking more along the lines of enjoying the movie magic of it all on the second watch, rather than focusing on the plot.

Watched the OG Blade Runner last night, more then anything because I wanted to test out the new soundsystem in the home theatre and the 4K has an Atmos-mix. It was great. Usually formerly stereo mixed old movies get a subtle surround update. Not this one. Every speaker was doing it’s duties on Blade Runner.
