Smallman1 you’re an absolute heathen sometimes, Ed
Everything I watched yesterday was absolute dog shit.
Even gave that Masters of The Air drivel a whirl, absolutely horrific.
I think she won because of positive discrimination, based on her skin colour, and not on merit.
Do you disagree?

Drive-Away Dolls. Saw it at the cinema with the missus and a bakers’ dozen of three wheelers. Classic Coen stuff with stupidity and jeopardy but they’ve thrown in a ton a lesbians and dildos. Gets funnier as it goes on. 7/10
Might have to buy this…

Sunshine (2007). The Cillian Murphy ignites an atomic bomb cinematic universe movie one. I think the budget for this movie was not much, and it still looks better than 90 % of efx-movies 17 years later. Great cast, most of who went to bigger things later. Great soundtrack. It’s not Danny Boyle’s best film, but it is my favorite. I have zero problems it turning into a slasher in the third act.

Homegrove I saw that at the cinema and wanted to kill people when it came out - awful film and is filed under 28 Days Later in my disappointed file. Should’ve called it Sunshite
Recovering from Bedrock on Friday, I watched Thelma and Louise and American Beauty - both for the second time after seeing them in the cinema on their original release. Neither film has dated and are both superb - they get a very solid 9/10 each.
Just watched Gladiator.
Still very watchable.
Along_the_Wire awful takes Grant my man. Never seen Thelma & Louise. And I’m a Ridley-fan. It’s deffo on the list now that it’s on Prime. American Beauty I imagine is even better with Spacey being a wrong one in real life, it certainly added to Seven.
