Abigail. A group of specially chosen strangers are tasked to kidnap a 12 yr old girl in the hope of sharing a 50 million ransom. They just have to keep her for 24hrs in a large abandoned house and wait for the cash. Horror with a sense of humour and i had a great time with it.

Mad_Cyril The Wicker Man is pretty mild until the end. Midsommar gets nasty earlier. And of course the other is 50 years old, so some differences come from that. 😃

I watched The Wicker Man today. This is not a horror movie, it’s a folk musical. 😃

It’s the movie’s 30th anniversary tomorrow, so we watched the new 4K remaster of The Crow tonight. I was a big fan of all things goth in the 90s (still am actually) so naturally I was obsessed with this movie. It’s got the 90s aesthetics on stereoids, and one of the best soundtracks of all time. The movie hasn’t aged very gracefully, but I liked that it’s so 1994 on this rewatch. The 4K-version also looks fantastic, well worth an iTunes-rental if you too were a fan and won’t mind a bit of a nostalgia here and there. I bought it from there for 4,99 €, rental is 3,99 €. The 4K Blu Ray was a bit steeply priced for this movie at about 30 €. 😃

whatever yeah. There’s apparently some computer trickery done to save the movie (he died midshoot (so to speak)), but I didn’t spot any. I did spot some body double stuff where he was facing away from camera without it making sense in the scene.
