Dubman Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead
Two brothers (Philip Seymour Hoffman & Ethan Hawke) decide to rob their parents jewelry store which goes wrong. The story jumps all over the place but is still rather good with few a twist and turns. It also stars the gorgeous Marisa Tomei. 7.5/10
Superb movie
Sidney Lumet‘s last film. A must-see.
Dune 2
I just couldn’t really give a shit about anyone in it or what was happening. Looks pretty though.

Good god, Civil War is fucking awful. Like a shit computer game with tedious set pieces and a stupidly unrealistic and utterly predictable ending. 2/10.
Mind you, they showed a ten minute trailer for Mad Max beforehand - now that looks beyond diabolical. Dune with shit cars, tattooed goths and skull masks.
Along_the_Wire yeah, but Anya though
I can’t fucking wait to see Furiosa.
Homegrove Have you seen the trailer?
Along_the_Wire critics and film fans who I trust who have seen it love it. Worth a 10 € IMO, I watch Fury Road annually too.
Certain Women (2016). A slow cinema (that’s a genre I learned today) movie that certainly was slow. Reminded me a lot of Nomadland. I think I liked it, the acting in it kept me glued in when nothing happened, and there didn’t seem to be much of a plot. Lily Gladstone especially was great. I think Scorcese saw her in this and wanted her for Killer of the Flowermoon.
