Once Upon a Time in the West (1968).
Watched the controversial new 4K Blu Ray release. Short review of that: It’s the best the movie has ever looked for home release, but there are problems.
Longer version: there is basically no film grain to be seen, all’s been scrubbed off. And the fact that it’s on a 66 GB disc instead of a 100 shows in compression, there is little difference in the 4K and 1080 Blu Ray in the box at a quick glance on a 50″ TV. Yet it looks magnificent still. I would heartily recommend this over the 2011 Blu Ray. It is impossible to ruin this movie. It’s the best western ever.
