His Three Daughters: You definitely feel like you’re watching a play and not a movie, which in some ways heightens the acting of the three leads. The script is strong, and is a ‘slice of life’ mix of melancholy and funny. I obviously related to the Natasha Lyon character. Elizabeth Olsen understated and beautiful, and Coon might be bit too exaggerated or maybe that’s because she’s the ‘nagging’ daughter.
Without being too sexist, this will probably land a lot better with women, not sure if the crowd on here have the patience for this. I enjoyed it, but wife enjoyed it a whole lot more. The ending brings it all together.
