Millsy nah, because it felt totally intentional. Like Todd Philips set out to do a bad movie. Also this had to be a money laundering scheme, because there’s no way this cost more than Dune 2 to produce.

Homegrove Dune 2 is full of CGI and two-bob actors. I could only bear 5 minutes of it - it’s still better than Joker 2

I bailed after an hour of Dune 2 and doubt I’ll go back

Along_the_Wire Religious genocide, idolatry and wars over a resource all being themes from the latest Disney flicks 👍🏻

The Straight Story (1999). Like a great Letterboxd-review said the one David Lynch-film that makes you wish real life was like this. This was lovely.

Homegrove I remember watching this on a Sunday afternoon after a heavy Gods Kitchen Friday and sobbing for about an hour after it finished.

Yeah remember that being good. Old bloke on a tractor?

Great timing for a movie this sentimental. 😀

Just waiting for the Blu-ray to up vote it to a 10

Really enjoyed LaRoy Texas on the flight to NY.
Echoes of the Coens with intriguing characters, duplicity and quality writing. Steve Zahn excellent as ever.

I can’t lie this went over my head and felt pretty long. Some nice moments though.
