Wowsers. That is…a movie. If you all want to see a film about the seediest side of already seedy Los Angeles, this is it. Trans sex worker gets out of jail on Christmas Eve, meets up with her Trans sex worker friend, and a whole lot ensues over the course of the day. Brilliantly acted. It’s funny but heartfelt. Filmed on three iPhone 5s smartphones but looks great. Fantastic nugget for fans of The Wire. A tolerance of ways of life that certainly are not yours is required (so not recommended for Matt Black), but you lot should give it a go. I found it on Amazon Prime.

Malignant. 80s/90s inspired horror from James Wan. Woman keeps having visions of murders which turn out to be real. Flashy, daft and pretty good fun, especially the last 45mins or so when it properly goes full wacko.

Gave this a go. Didn’t think it was very good given Wan’s resume. But felt like a Wes Craven throwback which was enjoyable from a nostalgia perspective. Reminded me of “Shocker” in its vibe.

Shang Chi and the Ten Rings… watched the new Marvel film with the kids and was surprised how entertaining it was.. amusing in parts too… 8/10

It was fucking Brilliant my son. Including Craig Fairbrass. The bloke was incredible.

EraserOfLove yes, saw this on Sky a little while ago. The The soundtrack…think Fairbrass was born for this role. Some of the ‘party’ scenes are pretty wild/grubby!

I read that Johnson had an open house and just invited every sex/drug fiend, techno thetan and s&M hedonist in the area and let the cameras roll. Fairbrass said that it disturbed him mentally for weeks and went beyond acting/Reality parameters. Magic.
