Homegrove Bladerunner 2049 did about 25m IIRC so much better, however, it also did really well overseas but died domestically. It turns out yanks canât appreciate artistic finesse. Who knew? Hopefully Dune wonât suffer the same fate and the second weekend international drop off wonât be too harsh.
Tbh, I think a deal has already been sorted for Pt 2 unless it absolutely dies. I know thereâs a deal saying cinema numbers donât matter as long as it does well on HBO max in the US.
