We just watched Last Duel. I loved it. That said I have no surprise it tanked at theatres. Movies like that don’t get the people in the seats anymore. I hope it gets them at home. On Disney+ in Europe, HBO Max in the States.
Every actor was bringing their a+ game, especially Damon. I wish he played despicable people more often. He does it so well. Jodie Comer and Adam Driver are no surprises in acting, so of course they were good. And of course no one can do historical fiction like Ridley Scott. The sets, the costumes, the blood… Just awesome. I knew how it ended, yet I forgot to breathe during the actual duel-part.
