28 days, weeks, years. Re-watched the first 2 after many years before the latest one and all are a complete load of caca. Overall I’d give 4/10 for the 3 films, would have been lower but Jody Cramer’s acting in the last one pulled it up a bit. Generally truly awful, just avoid.

I gave this a whirl last night and almost sacked it off after 5 mins but I lasted for another 10 mins before I binned it completely. Absolutely shite of the highest order. ⅒
So I decided to give
The Accountant 2 staring Ben Affleck & Jon Bernthal. I managed to last the whole film but whole plot was so poor. 4/10

Unforgivable on BBC. Pretty tough watch and subject to cover, but top performances from all involved and caused hot debate in IS towers. 8/10, but a point knocked off for a rather trite ending and embarrassing final line given what preceded …….

Fantastic 4 - decent attempt tbf. Nowt amazing but with this and the Thunderbolts both being decent, maybe there’s a bit of life in the sick dog yet. 7.5 naked silver ladies on surfboards / 10

The bad guys 2 : did a cinema day with the kids going to see F4 in the AM and this in the PM. Fell asleep in the first half and the second seemed like an incomprehnsible mess but the kids enjoyed it. 11 Zzzzzzs / 10

Wasily high hopes for weapons, remember putting on barbarian purely on a whim and it being one of my favourite movies that year. Reading weapons is even better. Need to convince the wife to do it before ‘together’ on our friday date night.

Barton Fink (1991). Whoa. That’s a five star movie I doubt I will ever want to watch again. Just a literal depiction what hell must be like. And the only reason Fink deserved it was because he thought a bit too much of himself. Not a very chill choice for me to watch midday on a Sunday. 😀

The Naked Gun (2025). They understood why the original was so good, and managed to replicate it almost 40 years later. Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are both so fucking funny in this. Never has calling something stupid been a bigger compliment for a movie. Not everything lands, but so much does that my stomach still hurts from laughing an hour after the movie ended.

Homegrove Liked the original but I was about 8 when I saw it. I’m not sure I’d enjoy it now and haven’t bought tickets for that reason. Keeping an open mind though and waiting for the reviews to come in…

I thought he was just as straight (ahem) as Nielsen.
