Caught Stealing : 5/10.
I think I’d have rated this higher if I hadn’t gone into it knowing Aronofsky directed it. It’s a perfectly adequate crime caper, fairly well written and acted. Aronofsky though is responsible for a few of my very favourite films, and this isn’t in the same ballpark. It’s not even playing the same sport.
It left me feeling entirely, completely and utterly whelmed.
