Dan Along_the_Wire Love Interstellar….brilliant cast and story. I think I bought the soundtrack immediately afterwards.
Millsy Movie night at the Smallmans. Three mins into the Interstellar running time and Ed/Julie are already finding the plot hard to follow. Ed has asked twice if Matthew McConaughey is a goodie or a baddie and his ADHD has kicked in so he’s simultaneously reading JC while making a cheese toastie sans cheese. They bin it off after 10 mins and Ed goes back to his 5000 piece puzzle while licking the tip of his nose.
whatever Millsy They bin it off after 10 mins and Ed goes back to his 5000 piece puzzle while licking the tip of his nose. You’re at least 2 decimal places out.
Smallman1 It didn’t need the last sentence Millsy, you’d done the job brilliantly until then. You can have absolutely have a lol though!
Homegrove They Live (1988). Cult film education for myself continues. This was a lot of fun, but I can’t help but imagine what it could have been with Kurt Russell in place of Roddy Piper, who is (sorry to say) just awful at acting. He can’t even deliver a line.
Dan Let Him Go 2020 Kevin Costner and Dianne Lane face the tough task of locating and bringing their Grandson home from a dysfunctional family. 6/10 Fingers 🪓
Along_the_Wire The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Apparently, the critics were strongly divided over this one - well, I’m not, it’s absolute fucking drivel and worse, sentimental fucking drivel. This one is on the missus. 2/10
Mad_Cyril Along_the_Wire This one is on the missus. 2/10 Thought my Mrs was bad. Want to go 1/2s on a patio?
Homegrove Get Out (2017). Pretty late on this, and I’ve not seen Us or Nope either. Yet. Will correct that as this was so good. And funny. The legend is that Bradley Whitford didn’t get that the voting for Obama for the third time-line was an obvious joke.
