Homegrove If you think ‘The Road’ is dark try reading ‘Blood Meridian’. 😱
It sounds nice
nicksneddon I absolutely loved that movie. And not just for the footage of that fine ass of hers.
seanc80 Just finished watching it and it’s one the best films I’ve seen this year. The whole cast was excellent with a good story. A bit dark in places but also quite moving.
Dubman
Nice. Found something for this evening after work then.
The Trial for the Chicago 7. Very good if you like Aaron Sorkin.
Finally watched l’immortale. Enjoyed it, cant wait for the final season. Hope it doesn’t fizzle out or jump the shark.
Phil-McRackin Don’t hold your breath, Marco D’Amore is on director duties…
Along_the_Wire
Along_the_Wire thought he did alright with this, he’s doing the first 5 apparently. I suppose we’ll expect to see lots of shots of Ciro just staring and not saying anything for extended scenes. Also wearing sunglasses in the dark.
David Attenborough - A Life on Our Planet

Is this on Netflix Nass?
Watched the trial of the Chicago 7 yesterday, thought it was an absolutely brilliant film. Great mix of characters. Not sure whether it was my stinking hangover or not but gets an 8 or more out of 10 from moi.

Where can one watch this Si?
-si- the ending was changed (he didn’t read the names), but otherwise what was changed they had to tone down the characters, the judge was even crazier IRL, and Bobby Seal and Abbie Hoffman were also even more lively in actuality.
-si- Trial of the Chicago 7 - Giving it a solid seven and a half Molotov cocktails out of ten. Probably the best Netflix film I have seen. Actually felt like a film, rather than a made for TV vibe.
Smallman1
On netflix, ed. Good cast in it too.
Homegrove
Cracking cast in it too. Great film, love the fact it’s based on a true story and that the judge and defendants were such a mad fucking bunch of people!
mono-stereo Ex SAS in WW2 …..much respect for that.
Dan That’s Cool. Didn’t know that.
