It’s okay. But doesn’t touch the book so you’re not missing much. Felt like a, “well, it won the Pulitzer so better do a film adaptation” sort of thing. McCarthy’s books must be a nightmare to adapt anyway. So much dialogue is internal and overt narration rarely works. I guess that’s why I respect “No Country…” so much. They nailed a really tough book - not just the story, but the feel. You can tell what the characters are thinking when there are no words (or music, for that matter).
