My annual rewatch of Sexy Beast was on Wednesday, as it was a hot day. Still 5/5. Ben Kingsley must have a shit agent judging by his career. He’s mostly doing shit direct to DVD-movies with Bruce Willis and Jason Statham these days. Fuck Gandhi, Don Logan is his greatest gig ever.

Quiet Place 2… a continuation of the first film but better. Lots of bits that made me squeal like a little piggy… Kermode was bang on the nose about this imo - very good tense horror. 8/10

Watched all four of Rob Brydon’s and Steve Coogan’s Trip-films over three days. I have no idea why I love them but I do. I own the serialized versions of the first three on DVD, but prefer the movies actually. The tv versions get on a bit.

The Little Things. Thought I’d watch something middle of the road and easy to watch on the way up to Scotland on Friday. Jesus fucking H Christ, but a load of absolute shit. First half an hour looked vaguely promising, but then someone hits the stereotype button hard. Tripe. 2/10

American Hustle.. Haven’t seen it in a few years but it’s now on Amazon prime. It’s still just as good with a great cast & soundtrack. 8 Comb overs /10
