Long time since I saw that one Hanners.

May have to revisit.

I watched White Noise on Netflix. It’s Noah Baumbach’s movie adaptation of Don Delillo’s classic satire. The movie is as faithful of an adaptation of a movie based on a book I’ve ever seen, so if you liked the book you should also like movie. I did not like the book that much.

That said the 80s setting was beautifully done, and the end credits dance sequence set to a new banger by LCD Soundsystem was simply amazing. And my favorite part of the book, the dueling lecturers, was even better in the movie.

BlainSA the trauma caused by that movie is also part of growing up. 😀

    The Batman

    More men in tights dross.

    A film so dark you need to eat carrots to see what’s going on.

      Dan The unimaginative name alone makes me absolutely detest it.

      But enough about Dan…

        Yeah, that new Batman movie was terrible. Not sure where it got those positive reviews.

          As a Batman-comic reader I enjoyed it. It was very faithful to the style of books like Long Halloween. Too long though, I thought it ended three times.

            Homegrove The Long Halloween animated series was far far better.

            This movie was garbage.

              Watched the batman on Mon night, for the first time. It was a load of oul shite. His house, batmobile, general demeanour and hair were all shite. Overall rating, shite.

              Why would anyone watch a Batman movie?

              Millsy Is The Batman MARVEL or DC? I can never remember. I think they need to do a Batman vs Superman vs Spiderman vs Captain America movie. That would be brill. In fact, make a whole franchise of that and only put that in the cinema for the next TEN years.

                  The MARVEL DC cuntiverse movie.

                  bosstrabs sounds boss. I do love a Vs reboot especially. Imagine if the Universes combined though. And the the timelines. And the phases of the timelines. And Thanos came back. And the laser beams. Woo

                    Imagine if we all had to watch intellectually unstimulating superhero movies for the rest of our lives because THAT’S WHAT THEY WANT.
