Dan it’s up to Disney now when they’re releasing it, not Cameron. Rumor is Cameron’s done True Lies-remaster too, it also never even got a Blu Ray-release. I’m not fussed about that movie, but it’s got a lot of fans.

Wes Anderson’s next Roald Dahl–adaptation is The Swan. It was a bit of a bummer, a sad one.

Meg 2: The Trench. I was hoping for a good bad movie, I got just bad bad. I though the first one was a good bad movie. Surprised Ben Wheatley did this, and it sucked. I did get a good laugh out of Jason Statham swimming at 7500 metres deep and surviving because he emptied his lungs.

Reptile on Netflix was excellent. The sound design is also of the sort that you want to turn the volume up to get the full experience. Alicia Silverstone also got me all hot and bothered in it. She looks damn fine in her forties.

Homegrove I’ll need to watch this again, felt it was trying hard to be True Detective season 1. Alicia Silverstone was great.

Gran Turismo 6/10 it’s a bit cheesey in places but an amazing story all the same, serious natural talent that kid had.

A quirky and Incoherent story that is beautifully shot. I’m a fan of Anderson’s work, but this kinda drags on a bit. Reminded me of Birdman.

‘The Creator’ solid sci fi but not the spectacular flick it’s been made out to be. Looks spectacular but the script and editing are average at best which is a shame as a bit of nuance could have knocked it out the park. 7.5 Simulants / 10
