1922: I vaguely remember someone on here enjoying this. Always liked Thomas Jane, he’s underrated and overall the acting is very good. You will need subtitles, because you can barely make out what he’s saying, the southern accent is heavy. Plus he’s doing a voice over through it as well, so a lot of talking. Story wise, it’s typical Stephen King - not much of a spoiler because it happens right at the start, but the plot centers around a farmer and his son murdering the matriarch. The gore is pretty hardcore. It’s not in your face scary, but extremely creepy and unsettling. A pure horror movie if you’re a fan of the genre. 7.8 / 10
