American Sniper - curious after it was posted here recently. Good yarn, had no idea it was a true story. Worth a watch 6.5/10

Deep Cover. An absolutely fucking awful attempt at neo noir with Laurence Fishburne. Terrible 2/10

Talk to Me - don’t like horror but got decent reviews. Australian film where you want everyone dead because it’s so fucking stupid. Shite ⅒

alistair There was a bit where there’s a confrontation in the square and I felt it was a bit “America is here to save Italy from itself”, but I was also pleasantly surprised with the cinematography and level of Italian used.

Good acting and the script feels more authentic and less sensational than the Roger Ailes ones. I was wondering if all the recorded phone conversations were based on the actual scripts. Ashley Judd also acts as herself, which kinda worked. 7.8 / 10
