Along_the_Wire lol see my post immediately before yours. Didn’t think Deep Cover was that bad, but agree it was trying too hard to be neo noir. I’m a bit of a sucker for 90s films at the moment though

Dan yeah I was surprised to read that it flopped both at the box office and with the critics

gcw So did the Big Lewboski, but they’ve both become cult dvds.

Thief 1981 James Caan can’t believe only seeing recently. 8.5/10 proper classic.

gcw LOL - did someone mention it earlier in here as a recommendation?!

alistair There was a bit where there’s a confrontation in the square and I felt it was a bit “America is here to save Italy from itself”, but I was also pleasantly surprised with the cinematography and level of Italian used.

        Expendables 4:

Easily the worst thing I seen in the last 5 years, but not so bad you can start to enjoy it. Avoid (But you new that already) ⅒

vinnyt77 I was there for our biggest ever comeback on 2015 from 24-0 down, so not all bad. And we’re shit - Howell played well mind.

Dan Stressful watch, especially knowing what’s going to happen

She Said: This lacked the class of Spotlight, but it’s still a solid movie in the same genre - covering the Harvey Weinstein exposure. Good acting and the script feels more authentic and less sensational than the Roger Ailes ones. I was wondering if all the recorded phone conversations were based on the actual scripts. Ashley Judd also acts as herself, which kinda worked. 7.8 / 10

Along_the_Wire My folks had to turn it off as it was too frantic 😆

          But they loved uncut gems.
