Wally agree, Bladerunner 2049 was a gorgeous film to watch
gcw Any film with Roger Deakins at cinematographer is always stunning to watch. He’s in a proper class of his own.
Actually, I seem to recall there’s two versions of the trailer - a 60 sec one for the flicks (which was leaked) and this one which had a bit more to it - me talking shite again. Quelle surpris’ eh?
Yeah, was just about to comment that I got my dates mixes, tomorrow’s the day.
Watched a horor/thriller from 2010 called Devil last night. Very good.
Along_the_Wire With you on that. Seven is a cracker of a film.
Wally Good fucking god, that looks shite.
All the usual culprits, boring casting, terrible cover version, looks duller than the original, will probably rake it in.
It’s gonna bomb like there’s no tomorrow. WB are nuts to not hold it back.
Looks like the first Villeneuve-blockbuster. All in as long as that horrible Pink Floyd-cover is just for the trailer.
Along_the_Wire Have you read the book G?
Wally Nope. The film put me off something awful.
Watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles with the daughter…. apart from some scattered use of the word Fuck, great family entertainment - John Candy and Steve Martin are superb….some classic scenes.
The swearing-scene is brilliant.
It’s a a fucking crime they are making a modern version of that with Kevin fucking Hart in it.
Is Dune being split into 2 movies?
LT42 Kinda - this one is the first 2/3rd of the book. If it’s a success, they have everyone signed up to do another one. if it’s a flop (which it will be), they won’t.
Wally Are the rest of the books worth a read?
They could stick it on Disney + and charge £20 like they did with Mulan. Lol
Heard Villeneuve signed on only if he’s promised they do two in any case.
Homegrove Link?
