Not an artist album, but Avalon Emerson’s DJ KiCKS is ace. As was to be expected.
Agreed. I even like that pop ditty she starts the thing out with; as cheesy as it may be.
Gave the Avalon Emerson DJKicks are twirl a couple of times. Arcade vibes is a good way to put it. Found it a tad bit noisy but there are some great moments in it. Enjoyed it more the second time around.
Was pleasantly surprised by Gerd Jansen’s Fabric mix the second time around too. Tight tight mix.
A welcome return from the Fleet Foxes. Bliss
in the category of not quite new, but new to me, these gradient albums from last year are outstanding.

Has to be said that the new Kolsch album is better that I thought it would be. Really quite good.

Youen - Sugar Space…..pretty decent deep house.
I put on a Robag Wruhme compilation (Wuppdeckmischmampflow from 2011) over the weekend as I’d been really liking his productions recently. Got me curious - Venq Tolep from last year is new to me, but fuck me, that’s a great album.
Along_the_Wire check out the wuzzlebud kk lp from 2004. pretty old and quite minimal but was really goood at the time.

Along_the_Wire I listened to this Robag album last year and didn’t like it at all. Having given it another shot this avo, I have come to the conclusion that I no longer have a fucking clue about anything anymore. So, really love this now. In my top 10 for the year that’s for sure. Grant, this is all your fault.
