M83 has a new 6 track (EP? Mini?) album out today, that is excellent. Which is nice because their last album was disappointing.

Homegrove I love their early stuff, everything since hurry up, we’re dreaming has been complete shit. Saw them live a few year ago and they didn’t perform a single track from pre-2011.
I’ll give this a listen, but I’m not expecting much. Hold tight for feedback.
Edit: yeah it’s a bad rehash of their sound that I hate

I like orbital a lot, especially live, I’ve seen them probably 5 times in all and have all their albums and 12s right back to dot . But…if someone had told me this was a load of tracks off the studio floor that didn’t quite make albums I’d have not questioned it. Sounds stuck in time. 90s time.
Enjoyed this

Homegrove oh, sorry mate - I like this thread, so amazed I missed it
Trikk - Fauna & Flora
Not new but De La Soul hits the streaming services today for the first time ever.

New album from Vril. First impression is that it’s not as good as Anima Mundi. However, probably more accessible. I imagine.
Homegrove I started my day of de la soul with breakfast. Almost done 3 feet high, going through as many of their albums as I can today. Always loved their vibe, really similar to early arrested development and digable planets.
It’s hard to overstate how good this album is/was, especially for ‘89. Had a lot of their stuff on tape, but haven’t listened to it in ages, it’s going to be a good day.
I like it. Just not blown away by as I was with Anima Mundi. Zukunftsstraße is superb. As is the last track. But will probably take quite a few listens to get into it. However, deffo a better album to be playing out.
Can’t imagine who would say such a terrible thing.
Orbital have been playing the same set for 25 years, will never see them again.
Cheers!
