Dubman Kells77 No. We always have it in the evening. We did used to have beef & turkey for lunch but the family was much bigger back then.
C_J Kells77 cheers Kelley she says you clearly have good taste. And super-healthy too right? 🙂😇
Kells77 C_J Yes! It is! Not that I’m always healthy (it clearly shows lol) but I do love it! I thing I might have it for lunch today actually! 😃
Millsy Dubman never say never on the mash front. I’m a convert now I’ve heard what a game changer adding spring onions is. Can’t wait to see my family’s little faces!
jonattonyeah EASTER BUMP! Can we get a title change on this rollercoaster ride of a thread here, mods, so we can go at each other’s throats about Easter Dinner for a few FEWMIN weeks?
bosstrabs We don’t have an ‘Easter Dinner’ whatever the fuck one of those is, we just watch sport for a 4-day weekend and eat shitloads of chocolate eggs. A bit like your Thanksgiving, except not shit, because we don’t have to watch the Detroit Lions.
jonattonyeah bosstrabs Really? Every time I’ve been back around Easter it was always a thing. But maybe I’m out of touch and poncy.
Mad_Cyril He’s talking shite as per Jon. Slow roast Lamb is the key. Cooked for a few of the older ladies on our street last year as well, hoping one will return the favour this year but no call as yet!!
Along_the_Wire Easter is four days off work. Apart from kids mithering for chocolate eggs, it’s nothing more than a four day break.
-si- No easter Dinner? Catch a grip of yourselves. Animals. Jy, we do of course have an Easter dinner. Good excuse to think of some potato side dish ideas…
Mad_Cyril -si- I’m planning Alphabites with Mint & Rosemary for an entree, cooked on the RANGEMASTER natch
