Christian This does not bode well. I’ve got wide feet, not flat footed, but wide, I struggle to get in some of the skinny retro numbers.

Amps they may not look the best, but for running have a look at brooks.. they also sell a wide version, but have found the standard version wide enough for my feet

    Are Skechers any good?

    Asking for a friend.

    • Dan replied to this.

      Brown cords and stilton sauconys.

      Genuinely bleak times.

Smalls - whenever you give Asics a shout, do you mean the Gel Kayano 14? Because I just got them for my walks, and they’re GOAT. Up there with my Zoom vomero 5s. Maybe better. Will post pics when I’m on my laptop.

I run in whatever the latest iteration is Rhouses.

They are boss though like you say.

Amps Currently taking any advice on shin splints. Sprinting is okay, but they’re killing my jogging.

Hmm this is tricky, rest obviously but shin splints are a notoriously difficult beast.

Amps I had them years ago, I just had to stop for quite a while. There’s probably a more modern solution - they’re a bastard and sorry you’re suffering. God’s speed and all that

        Amps Naaah. Pretty sober.

I got the navy blue ones for myself, the grey pastel green ones which are the limited edition Kiko Kostadinov versions for my dad, and the pink grey for the missus.

Thinking about the white gold silver ones since they’re on discount.

Re the shin splints, my best solution so far is to do some bike work before hand and then massage the fuck out of them before I start running. I think it’s my portly girth causing most of the issue.

rhouses Haven’t picked anything up yet, had a fairly busy couple of weeks. I’m worried about the width fitting so might hold off until I can get to a proper shop.

Amps used to get from playing on different surfaces. Very painful.
