Along_the_Wire That looks incredibly nice! Do you use a bike fitter?

Selliny both my roadies at the minute and going for a 4 season all rounder made by Sonder. Don’t think I’ll race again and just want a solid bike I take out on any day of the year.

Hursty Yeah, got fitted using Retul - the electronic version so measure angles accurately and also picks up some errors in your riding style - was really interesting. Prettt expensive, but they charged £100 of you bought the bike, so was definitely worth it.

The Ostro is a superb all-rounder which suits me now I’m not road racing - an aero climber basically. I’ll only use it in good weather, or suffer bad weather on it abroad.

I’ve got the Flicker colour which is basically a lacquer finish on bare carbon - looks amazing.

Sondor look solid. I’ve still got a decent bike for my commute in all weathers - I do a lot of training on it, so I still want something decent even then given how much time I spend on it.

Black Inc 45 wheels (Factor’s own brand, but they get very good review and look mustard). Gone for Sram Red AXS with power meter. It’s gonna be the bollocks!

        Along_the_Wire Fully pimped!!

Managed to seek my Planet X in less than 24hrs at full price no quibbles. Not bad for a budget brand and it’s basically only cost me £150 for 5 years use. Amazing!

About to sell my Rose today, see how that goes.

        2 months later

New bike arrived today. I’m working like an absolute cunt at the minute though, so won’t be able to build it til much later 🙁

Got some hunt all season wheels and have gone tubeless for the commuter. But no way I’m commuting by bike in this weather. I’ll end up with a broken hip.

Same here. I go out early on a Sunday morning to beat the dog walkers and riders. It’s very muddy that all.
I also fitted some new brake pads. Hope they work.

        a month later

        I haven’t Dubman.

        Hope that helps.

Dubman No mate just a Geography field trip in 84

Road racing season kicks off on Sunday with the UAE Tour. Fuck human rights!

It’s pretty much every week til the end of September from then. Living the dream

I know you Benson are roadies but there is a few Mtbers on here. I just fancy getting away for a few days in the summer.

          Dubman
Dubbers. Have a look at the MTB trails in the Galloway Forests.

We only did the family friendly ones but there are loads of hard-core ones too.

We spoke to some proper MTB enthusiasts and they said was ace.

Stunning part of the world too
