LT42 Alaphilipe has been doing some stuff for the team but their work all week at the front of the group has been really impressive when needed. So impressive to watch.

Alaphillipe was the leader and the Tour was set up for him to win (the organisers are desperate for a French winner - been over 30 years?). Once he fell, they’ve gone all-in on green and the record. It’s genuinely incredible - he had form, and a lot of great sprinters are out, but fucking hell.

Hursty Great tussle for the stage today but there was always going to be one winner and that was Pogacar. Cheeky tactics by Carapaz but it nearly worked for him, I genuinely thought he was blowing up, all a facade in the reality!
