I still go over 200 relatively easily. 180 is an average for me for a 2 hour ride. Had a bad bad fall last week on the ice. Still have huge bruises on my thigh and a big lump of fluid under the skin (looking like a Morel-Lavellee Lesion) so I’ll be sticking to the kickr in the kitchen for a while

Not sure what I can get my max up to but my average rest is 38 currently.

Need a to invest in a chest strap but haven’t got on with them well before, keep thinking of getting the Garmin Pro one

Everyone’s different what’s high for one is nothing to an other.

I fucking hate cycling indoors. So dull and feels harder.

Mad_Cyril I think most use a turbo trainer on here but have heard the Pelton offering is great for those who want to keep fit and are not too bothered about getting into proper cycling.

World CycloCross champs tonight, you can catch it on BBC, hoping for a Pidcock win but anything can happen.

Watched some of the Women’s last night which involved a sea of orange riders dominate. The course seemed super tame as well, very smooth ground, hardly any mud, and correct me if I’m wrong, no real obstacles bar some steps which they had to run up.

The pro peleton yesterday went up a very niche climb I’ve done for years in port d’andratx. My time looks terrible now. Previously I was about 7th out of 15. Now I’m 180th out of 289

Fair to say that it demonstrates just how different they are to me
