mono-stereo Hursty Apart from the 737 MAX Boeing has a great safety record. I wouldn’t worry about flying on any of them. I’ve even flown on the MAX, although that was after it was fixed.

LT42 Amps You mentioned coverage, and my point was that the media don’t report on run of the mill plane crashes Well they should but they don’t because “Boeing” and “737” seem to be selling better than Airbus right now. This is really unfortunate for Boeing because a birdstrike can affect any aircraft catastrophically at any moment and on the evidence we’ve seen with this event it looks more than obvious that it was human error rather than a fault of a Boeing 737, which is how some headlines are being spun. I hate to say it but you’d never get a Korean pilot landing an aircraft in the Hudson, training is everything.

LT42 I’ve taken my simming up a notch of late. Getting searched as I step through the threshold of the front door on my way to my flight, she loves helping with that. I’ve got a hi-vis and flashlight that I want to incorporate into my sessions, maybe a walkaround using some wheelie bins on each side of the apartment block to pose as engines. The possibilities are endless if you put your mind to it, thats what I keep telling her as she empties another bottle of wine.
