bosstrabs sorry, i’m only half awake, didn’t mean to imply i have a face tattoo. just arms, chest, and fill work between.
to your point though, i think there’s a massive difference between fetish wear and tattoos, but maybe that’s just because i’m not in that world so i see it differently. obviously there will always be social norms, but does art on someone’s skin affect their work? obviously not, but there’s the question of content too. all of my work is fairly palatable and that’s very different from someone with offensive material or heavy black work, as an example.
i think in most western cultures now, there are more people with tattoos than not, so the stigma is fading; not just for convicts and outcasts anymore. i think the message should be the same as with everything else, let’s foster acceptance and tolerance.
