hugopal So the only problem becomes how many people get it at once, right? If it’s 20-50% less likely a positive case will end up experiencing ‘severe disease’ there only need to be 20%-50% more cases for hospital admissions to balance out at similar peaks to the top of the delta wave. Have I got that right?
I meant also outside of health workers. Not everyone can work from home with SNIFFLES.

Booster jab done this morning. Really hope no side effects as I got to do the Xmas dinner tomorrow lunchtime.
Got to say I have an issue using boosters that were designed for the original strain… there is clearly a big drop in efficacy and boosters apparently will only last 2-3 months before protection drops off substantially… we can take these vaccines every month at an extreme but that of course is unlikely to be healthy… much better to get these vaccines modified for the current strains so we only have to take them once a year
