My friend in London was saying that the cases are through the roof because the rapid testing wasn’t catching the Omicron virus, but when they did the more robust testing mostly for folks seeing their parents for Christmas, it was catching it. Was also saying no deaths and mostly mild symptoms, hospitals clogged with paranoid folk.

      rhouses hospitals full of paranoid folk… that’s certainly a reasonable theory for some in hospital - in South Africa people were discharged a lot quicker..
