bosstrabs Britain is probably more communist in that it has a nationalised healthcare system paid for out of general taxation.

It’s the only good thing about this country these days, lets face it, the prog is second rate at best.

bosstrabs not heard anything like it since I was battered at 6am at an afters in my early 20s, listening to a communist who was picking the debris out of the grooves in a coffee table to try to construct one last spliff.

Lol!

I’d say the three best things about this country are the NHS, London and me.

C_J he also says total hospitalisations are unchanged week on week.. seems like great news

    “MAN CLAIMS POLITICIAN LIED”

Which one of your grandchildren taught you how to use the emojis?

        zackster
Why don’t you create an unintelligible childish picture for us all to laugh at?

My grandchildren love those, especially the really developmentally challenged ones.

Looks like you had a cracking Christmas tbf

Cases are exploding over this way but hospitalizations and deaths are way down. One week ago we had 794 positives in one day, our highest yet, but last year at this time we had 88 deaths in December due to Covid; this December only 5 (all unvaccinated and quite old). Genotyping lags but current estimate is 77% omicron. Going to be a busy few weeks as we weather the holiday bump but all in all, looking okay.

EDIT oh and quarantine time for asymptomatic down to five days.

Mad_Cyril thank you. I think a nominal donation to a charity of my choosing would also be appropriate.

Along_the_Wire yet most of continental Europe, including Germany, continue to either maintain or intensify lockdowns, despite generally plummeting cases, citing “worries over Omicron” . It makes little sense, they should be letting Omicron take over. They seem to be wilfully sticking their fingers in their ears regarding the evidence on Omicron to keep this nonsense going.
