zackster The fucked up thing is I had my 2nd dose in June, yet I was able to get a vaccine passport that makes sense.

zackster Yup, looks like it. Sounds too early to know anything about transmissability / severity though. Local health services in Marseille haven’t been screening positive tests for the variant so far. They’ve found a very small number of cases in ICUs that appear to be this new variant.

Have to hope it’s a similar story to Omicron in terms of impact.

zackster There is some new mutation in France now????

      A truly awful country.

      Lozza G aside that is.

vinnyt77 personally would ignore - if it outcompetes Onicron it will almost certainly be v mild

Funky only a thicket wouldn’t get a booster. Do you want the government to give you a cuddle carry to the vaccination centre?

I think common sense should prevail in situations like this.

Millsy’s COVID update. My entire family is riddled with it, but yer man Millsy is still testing negative on the lat flows. We can put this down to one basic ingredient. Minerals.

          Good day

Are your arms too short to get the swab all the way up your nose??

Managed to move my booster shot closer by two weeks, to the 12th of January. 💪

Along_the_Wire I have my booster next week but had covid 5 weeks ago.. and tbh, given how quickly antibodies (vs omicron) fade post current vaccines, I really wonder whether it’s worth my while… given how ineffective current vaccines are, if you have had covid without any issues, I’d question the whole idea of boosters..

Governments need to force pharmas to modify their vaccines, because you can’t be boosting every 3-6 months

I’d get a booster every week if it meant I could continue to ledge it at the coalface.

Jules72 I thought the same thing when I had full fluey aftereffects for a good three days. Imagine it was worse than most cases of omicrom. Still I have got a lot of business travel this year so needs must

I simply don’t get why so many people have to broadcast that they got the vaccination or booster, except possibly in jest/in an ironic way. Can anyone explain the need to do this? We’re in a global fucking pandemic, and nobody enjoys any of the measures - masks, nasal swabs, quarantine and vaccinations (along with feeling like shit for days afterwards) - it’s just something you have to get on with.

The worst are these bastards on Facebook who have a frame for their profile photo announcing their vaccination status.

I never really got this concept of ‘virtue signalling’ until recently. Now I totally understand why ‘virtue signalling’ annoys people.
