Hursty My two youngest had it the week after Christmas.

Sounds similar to how you described your son’s experience with it. They were unwell for one day, after that they were just back to normal (although both tested positive for another 7 days).

alistair Kids are so resilient

People always say that but why not put it to the test?

Punch a child in the stomach and see how quickly he gets up and stops crying, for example.

Stupid shite. Its up there with “at the end of the day” and “it is what it is.”

Our toddler brought it home from nursery last weekend, he tested positive on Sunday evening with temperature etc. I tested positive and have had flu symptoms since Wednesday, but my partner is still negative which is a bit of a head scratchier as we’ve all been at home this week.

303abuser I don’t think you need a booster at all 303 if you’ve just had covid…. I’m still debating with myself whether to have one after having had covid 2 months ago… you get to 6 months then I can see an argument for it, but a month afterwards is overkill - in 2-3 months your booster protection starts to drop steeply.

Just tested negative which means I can get stuck into a Leo Sayer in Crouch End.

bosstrabs You’re like a battery, Smallman.

COVID negative at the gob end and HIV positive at the bumhole end.

        A lol for Dave!

Back on topic and the mask wearing and vaccine passport thing in New York is fantastic. Works well. Not seen any people try and claim exemption. Helps that it’s chuffing freezing so masks keep you warm!

Totally different vibe to the U.K.

Even need to show it to get brekky in the hotel

Has Benson really just strode in here in his red trousers and put a doctor’s scribble right through my potential twenty-loller?

Number 1 city in the world baby!

zackster that’s what Stevo said when I was in Sydney. Doubtless what Ed would say in london.

Tell you one thing. It’s cold.

Tell you another. They take covid seriously

Mind you, the old US of A is not well known for looking after the sick and vulnerable.
