jonattonyeah 303abuser Perfect trampstamp. As for Covid, was just told I’m done with this work on Friday. Let that speak for itself on where we’re at. Might be moving me over to this overdose prevention site where there’s a back patio where open drug use is apparently allowed. Should be FUN.
303abuser jonattonyeah just make sure you hit a vein and you’ll be fine. maybe test for fentanyl first though.
Mad_Cyril zackster Work provide him with somewhere to sit in the sun and get toasted Zacko. Does that sound like an improvement to you?
Homegrove I’ve been taking magnesium every night before bed for a slight case of restless leg-syndrome for a few years now. Just realized I’ve also slept otherwise better too since I started eating it.
bosstrabs vinnyt77 I did NOT know that. Haven’t had any problems getting mine in the past, but planning to get another soon, so will keep it in mind Just get on a decent multivitamin, they’ve usually got a whole array of MINERALS stacked in them, including magnesium. No need to buy single supplements. See for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrum_(multivitamin)
rhouses bosstrabs I use magnesium as a sleeping aid, and relaxant. Don’t think centrium will solve for that.
303abuser bosstrabs isn’t the bioavailability in a multivitamin a lot lower in most cases? plus i don’t think most contain enough of each vitamin/mineral to be effective.
bosstrabs rhouses I use magnesium as a sleeping aid, and relaxant. Don’t think centrium will solve for that. So you’re boshing way over the recommended daily dose of magnesium? Doesn’t seem like a good idea to me. But then, you know, medicine isn’t a science.
Jules72 rhouses Rhouses did you have side effects from melatonin …. I occasionally take it… thinking of trying magnesium though - do you take it daily? What sort of dose?
Smallman1 seanc80 Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency can include muscle weakness, pain, fatigue and depression. You are basicaly a cripple. If it was a 100 years ago you’d be thrown down a well. Sean is FEWMIN about something. Suspect it’s the potato jibes. Onwards!
Dubman 303abuser I looked into this a while ago and found this article.. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/is-there-really-any-benefit-to-multivitamins
bosstrabs 303abuser isn’t the bioavailability in a multivitamin a lot lower in most cases? plus i don’t think most contain enough of each vitamin/mineral to be effective. I don’t know. I still take a multivitamin. It seems to stop me from getting THE SNIFFLES, compared to when I don’t take them for a while - convince me otherwise.
303abuser Dubman those findings are in line with my thoughts, but i also worry about any source that promotes low fat dairy and says saturated fat is bad. any expert citing low fat milk and cereal as a healthy meal know less about diet than they should. that’s another discussion though.
Dubman 303abuser It’s a massive business. Don’t know how they are allowed to get away with it really. Probably because it’s fairly harmless. It just seems like a huge con to me.
303abuser Dubman yeah i’m all for supplementing for dietary deficiencies, but the entire industry around it is ridiculous. just eat real food, cut out sugar and processed crap, and you’re 80% of the way there.
bosstrabs seanc80 Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency can include muscle weakness, pain, fatigue and depression. You are basicaly a cripple. If it was a 100 years ago you’d be thrown down a well. LOL. Also, dairy is an excellent source of Vitamin D. Ed’s harebrained scheme to get attention since he was little by saying he’s allergic to cheese but actually eating tiramisu has resulted in a Vitamin D deficiency. What a ledge!
