FabiParas Less than 4k deaths here and everyone has kept to the rules from day 1. Supermarkets always fully stocked, no hoarding of toilet roll etc. Everyone wearing masks. Nobody down at the seaside walking or abusing the rules during strict lockdown times. Feels very organised and people have been taking it seriously from the get-go. The lockdown measures they’ve brought in (full lockdown every weekend) have gone off without a hitch barring the first time they announced it with 2 hours notice, but now it works smoothly and seems to have slowed the infection rates considerably. Turkey came to the party late and it seemed to give them the benefit of taking the best measures from other countries and implementing them fast. The large spike in cases came from 20k travellers to the Umre in Saudi being let back in without being tested. This was right about the time anybody returning from Europe were being put into 2 weeks quarantine. But of course, Erdoğan’s Muslim disciples get special treatment.
