bosstrabs Smallman1 People born in FREE country’s shouldn’t have to wear masks. I like how you’ve even used the ‘Gammon Apostrophe’ there.

gcw Currently sitting in a pub garden after a nice evening meal, probably about 20 people sitting here. No masks, but tables keeping to themselves. God I missed this freedom!
Kells77 Smallman1 If it’s a Thai restaurant based on the fare you can buy on Khao San road (taking a guess based on the name), I’d say it’s probably not top quality Thai, but drunken tourist quality. 😂
Smallman1 I’ll just leave this here - https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2011/may/01/jay-rayner-restaurant-review-kaosan
Kells77 Smallman1 edit: I STILL don’t know who the person that wrote the article is (even after you mentioned he’s a respected critic - never heard of him). But I looked at the menu and the pictures of their food and it looks decent. Not top notch, but not drunken, tourist food either. 🙂
