                Question - I have had to isolate since last Wednesday but this week I had annual leave booked - Surely I’ll receive those 5 days back?

                Anybody been in this situation before? Cheers in advance.

                  Dan I guess it depends a little on your company, but when I was in the same position last year, our HR team cancelled the planned holiday time, and recorded it as a sickness absence instead.

                        Our work set aside 80 hours of special “Covid sick time” for everyone in the event of a positive case. Maybe your work can do something like that?

                          In my place you get special leave for COVID, but always been wary of trying to cancel leave for sick leave, even though this is allowed. Obviously you can prove you have COVID with a test, so you could offer for them to send you the laptop and you’ll work from home rather than take it off as sick leave.
