I’m actually quite pleased to consider myself ‘non-aligned’ in terms of party politics nowadays. Neither major party speaks to me - Labour endlessly entangled in woke issues and the modern Tory party a bunch of incomparable shits. I don’t see either as offering, or even seeking, optimal solutions to anything.
I think what it shows is that by and large all politicians are a bunch of self-serving cunts with their snouts in the trough at every given opportunity.
The only us and them should be us holding them to account for their actions / incompetence

What I don’t understand is how AstraZeneca and their vaccine, which is the only vaccine out there being given to the world at cost - on a not for profit basis - has been subjected to the amount of political sabotage that it has had to endure.
As a vaccine it is far cheaper to buy, easier to transport and store than the Pfizer vaccine and the blood clotting cases are also less at the same time.
Sure, it’s had some production issues preventing it from delivering as much as it intended - shit happens as evidenced by the missing 300 million Sanofi vaccines. The UK’s own programme is now also looking to stall due to recent production issues.
Yet here we find ourselves with World Leaders, who quite frankly should know better, making comments they are not qualified to make to undermine public confidence in a vaccine which is proven to be on par as effective as the Pfizer vaccine, whilst at the same time being far cheaper and easier to administer to the world.
What the fuck is going on? Seriously?
The good guy finishes last…..
The world is jealous of us Dutchy.
We’ve been ledging it since day dot and the green eyes on the rest of the planet can’t handle it.
When you’re the greatest nation on earth you’ve got to expect a few digs, we’ll ledge our way through this and then carry on absolutely bossing it, we got this!
I don’t think it’s a competition to figure out who’s more stupid.
If anything, those of us State-side figured you’d be better than us. But here we are.

Mad_Cyril This is the beauty of Decentralised Finance or DeFi which is future of the worlds global financial system. Take the away the high manipulative, bureaucratic control which discriminates the masses in favour of the few.
Reads across nicely to politics, for example if blockchain technology was used to record and register decisions, votes, policies, everyone and anyone could check and verify the contents without fear of them being changed or hidden.
No jab, no fly -
Just been vaccinated.
AZ for me.
Cases on the up from last weekend, but good to see deaths so low.
My parents got the Pfizer. No side effects whatsoever, which was nice. They’re 78 and 75.
Second shot June 3rd for both. Made plans to visit them finally on the second week of June.
Funky What’s your point DF?

The Dutch techno festival where attendees had to provide a negative covid test before entering. Fucking idiot frankly.
Feel full of flu and lethargy post jab.
Hoping the soothing sounds of GU13 cd1 will sort me out.
GLAD WE’RE OUT.

I think the strategy across mainland Europe needs to be focusing on how they go about restoring confidence in the AstraZeneca vaccine as its most pressing priority. It’s going to look a pretty odd thing to do to prevent exports of a vaccine you are not able to use because people won’t take it. There’s already millions of doses sitting there not being used
Interesting stat:
Things are going swimmingly over this way. We’re knocking out 10,000 a day at our Moscone site without a single hitch.
