Decent podcast with the CEO of Pfizer. Learned alot about the industry from this and some queries answered.

Wasn’t discussing WHETHER they should do it Hugo. I don’t have access to appropriate evidence so it’s not really for me to pontificate.

If the decision is ‘we think a precautionary firebreak’, it makes no sense to hold off a week. You either need one or you don’t.

A big like AND a lol for Zackster’s last video.

Mad_Cyril If the decision is ‘we think a precautionary firebreak’, it makes no sense to hold off a week. You either need one or you don’t.

      Well they don’t.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, hypothetically, maybe they’re still waiting to see whether the hospitalisations actually materialise to determine whether another lockdown is actually necessary?

You should be fucking locked down, Hugo.

zackster that’s not a very relevant or sensible analogy at all - those STIs are bacteria, not viruses. Plus unlike with covid they regularly evade a person’s immune system, whether young or old, whereas a young person’s immune system will typically defeat covid.

LT42 let me guess, he says “covid is here to stay, it’s terrible and you’ll need to be jabbed 4 times a year just to be sure”.

Not like you to be wrong. Watch it and you might learn something.

LT42 care to attempt a summary of the key points, before I consider wasting an hour of my life listening to that arsehole?

          • LT42 replied to this.

LT42 well given your track record for posting links that are absolute bollocks and contribute nothing then I’ll continue to ignore it.

If you don’t watch it I’ll be beside myself with grief. How could you do this to me?

The Lex Fridman Podcast with Hugo will have to be rescheduled to a later date as Fridman fell into a deep coma at the 40 minute mark. He is currently being kept for observation at Mt.Sinai medical centre and is feeling well. He told AP reporter Saul Bickleman “I don’t remember much if I’m honest, I remember asking him about what he thinks of the new Omicron variant and that’s about it. His voice was droning on and at first I lost my hearing, I signalled to Mike my producer to increase the gain as I thought it was a mic issue. Then I started to lose my eyesight. Hugo was talking about percentages in South Africa and asking me did I know a publication called The Spectator, at that point I just closed my eyes and let the darkness take me.” Fridman woke after 8 weeks surrounded by friends and family, he refused to be pushed on a future date.

LT42 sounds like even I’m more deadly than Omicron - cool!

              mono-stereo

It’s honestly worth a watch, Mono. The entire thing is bizarre. Was originally put together as an MTV collection of “commercials” (like 15 minute long bits) to promote their new album at the time. But it all went haywire so they released it as a film. The only person who displays any self-awareness is Kirk, the guitarist. James, Lars, and whoever the fuck the therapist is….they’re on another planet entirely. Pretty sure it’s on Netflix.

jonattonyeah the moment they give Trujillo the job is great. A real feel good moment. It’s crazy he’s had the job longer than any other bassist in the band, and is still the new guy.

hugopal I’m not saying The Spectator is wrong here, it was certainly right about opening up fully in the summer, but it’s a rampant right-wing rag that was against all the lock downs and restrictions of 2020. Right bunch of cunts.

And quoting the Telegraph? Do me a favour Hugo. At least I’ve done the respectful thing and stopped posting bullshit from the other end of the spectrum with the Guardian
